The B2200 Backless Bench Casting configurations include end, middle, and a backless bench version with arm is also available.

Inside or "flange" view of B2200

Middle casting supports longer bench lengths longer than 5 to 6 feet and are typically used when bench lengths are 8, 10, 12 or more feet long.

Passover middle stanchion accomodates unlimited bench lengths exceeding 5 to 6 feet. The difference between this stanchion and the standard middle is that the wood will "pass over" the top of this casting enabling you to create a bench without breaks in the seating surface.

Hardware and Seating Surface

Depending upon your selection of seating surface the seat slats may be bolted through with carriage bolts or lag screwed from behind to have a cleaner look. Carriage bolting is recommended for 1 inch thick slats and either option may be used for 1-1/2 inch thick slats.
